Transition Team
December 2009
The Transition Team is seeking the assistance of Ballou-Channing District officials to offer a program in February or March 2010 on the potential for growth of our Church. This will be an opportunity for members to learn about the joys and challenges of moving to a larger membership. We want to engage in a process that respects all points of view regarding church growth. We also hope perhaps to hear from members of other churches who have experienced this growth process. Stay tuned for the details.
On Sunday, December 6 at noon the Transition Team will host a follow-up discussion of the Beyond Categorical Thinking workshop in the vestry. Many important issues were raised at the workshop. This will be another opportunity to reflect on diversity issues. We hope all will attend, even if you were not able to be present for the workshop.
