Old time jam on sundays!
This is Appalachian old time music, not bluegrass, a post colonization blend of scotch-irish, african, indigenous. We play tunes sometimes 10 times through! You get a good crack at getting them. We welcome beginners. Typically we go around the room, call one tune each. Typical instruments: fiddles, banjo, guitar, lap dulcimer, cello, mandolin, uke, bones, upright bass, harp, harmonica. We mostly do instrumentals with the occasional song. Types of tunes: reels, hoedowns, waltzes.

Required information includes the title of the event, date and time, venue (room), and organizer name and email address.
Your event submission will be held for approval by the administrator.
Be sure to allow up to 7 days for your event to appear.
