UCS Endowment Fund

The USC Endowment Fund is an enduring church asset that will span generations and build the church’s financial strength. As the Fund grows, it will be a Name the UCS as the beneficiary of an existing life insurance policy or purchase a new policy with UCS source of support for:

Planned giving contributions to the Endowment Fund of the Unitarian Church of Sharon are administered by the Endowment Fund Board.

  • Program Enrichment
  • Enhancement of buildings and grounds
  • Community outreach
  • Developing the wider mission of the UUA
  • Scholarships and grants

Giving to the Endowment Fund

There are many ways to remember the Church in your planned giving:

  • Make a cash donation now perhaps in memory of a loved one, to honor a graduation, a celebration, a special occasion ….
  • Prepare a will and leave a gift (a specific dollar amount or percentage of the assets of your estate) to the Unitarian Church of Sharon (USC).
  • Name the UCS as the beneficiary of your IRA, 401K, charitable gift annuity or charitable trust.

Ask your financial advisor today about charitable giving and how you might incorporate a gift into your planned giving strategies.

Once you have made a decision to make a legacy gift to the Endowment Fund of the Unitarian Church of Sharon, please use this link Endowment intention form or contact endowment@uusharon.org to fill out an “Intention Form” and return the Form to the Administrative Office.

Annual Pledge Drive

The Annual  Pledge Drive raises money for the church’s annual operating budget. On occasion the church also conducts drives to raise funds for major capital expenses.
