A DAY TO HONOR REV. DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR.
January 19 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
This Sunday, we will be honoring Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. both during the worship service and after coffee hour. Included in the worship service this Sunday, will be a short ceremony, in which we will recommit ourselves to the work of anti-racism and anti-oppression, work which this year, our UU value of Justice specifically calls us to engage in. Immediately after coffee hour, Bryan Trabold, a UCS congregant and a professor at Suffolk University, will share with us his knowledge on the history of racism in this country and will engage us in a space of learning and dialogue.
Lunch and childcare will be provided.
