Small Group Ministry on Generosity (Nursery)

With the intention of supporting the congregation in giving meaning to, and living into, the newly adopted 7 values listed in Article II, the Committee on Ministry will be providing a Small Group Ministry program focusing on each of them: Equity, Generosity, Interdependence, Justice, Pluralism, Transformation, with the value of Love in the center.

Small Group Ministries, also sometimes called Covenant Groups, are simply a way for people to gather and deepen their connections with one another while exploring their values, faith, or beliefs together.

The first value we chose to reflect on is Generosity, which asks us to “cultivate a spirit of gratitude and hope.” Given the very challenging times we are living in, with fear and uncertainty so prevalent, we hoped that reflecting on this value might bring some comfort and inspiration to those participating in our shared space.

In our hope to engage as many folks as possible in this discussion, we have scheduled two in-person meeting time options, and we expect the sessions to run for 90 minutes:
• Saturday Morning, December 7th from 10-11:30am OR
• Tuesday Evening, December 17 from 7-8:30pm

It is our hope that a number of you will join us for these sessions, where we can come together in community to reflect, share, explore and connect on a deep and meaningful level. Based on the interest expressed in participating in these sessions, we also hope to create groups that will commit to meeting on a regular basis.

While it would be helpful if you could let us know ahead of time if you plan on attending the meeting, all are welcome and pre-registration is not required.
