Children’s Programs

Birth – age 4: Nursery and Early Childhood Center

Children are supported in choosing activities and materials that are of interest to them in this nurturing and inviting space staffed with an early childhood professional as well as trained volunteers.

Ages 5 – 11 (Gr K-5) Soul Matters

Our holistic approach gives children tools to make meaning in their lives and explore existential questions in a multi-room environment that supports mindfulness, compassion and self-direction. This year our monthly themes will explore a set of values the UU faith is leaning into as it evolves with the times. Topics will be explored during the family service and the conversation will continue in small groups downstairs followed by a period of choice time. Choices range from quiet, contemplative activities to artmaking, low-tech maker space, games, and long-term group projects. Our education center easily accommodates multiple ages, active learners and quiet seekers alike.

Parents

As the primary religious and spiritual teachers of their children, parents can be supported by a faith community that offers not only companionship but specific resources for the journey.
