Supporting our Immigrant Neighbors

In this time, there are a few small things we as a UU fellowship can do to bring a message of love and caring to our neighbors. That includes supporting our immigrant neighbors with basic household items as they relocate into permanent housing. A wide range of items can be donated and we will see that they are transferred to the team matching housing with families

These are some Actions YOU can take to help out!

  1. Contribute items listed below on “ITEMS NEEDED” section. Items should be either New or Gently Used and can be brought to the Vestry:
  2. Be available to organize the contributions before, during or after Coffee.
  3. Collect items at homes from those who cannot bring them to the Meetinghouse.
  4. Direct folks to the collection table and encourage others to donate. Make donation badges! Make signs for the collection table! Etc.

This project will continue for 3 months- February, March, April.

Let anyone on the Social Justice Committee know how you can help. (Ellen S-B, Gare R., Janet S., Lisa U., Barbara N-R, Beth M., Courtney H.)
